I cannot rhapsodize on about adorable guys for very long without recognizing the cutest guy of them all:

I'm not really one to go for guys with blue eyes,
but here I will gladly make an exception....

I have the most gigantic crush on British actor (hah....no surprise there) Benedict Cumberbatch. Not only does he have a handsome face, but he has a fabulous name to go right along with it. I have adored every moment of the first season of Sherlock and I can hardly contain my anticipation for season two (which airs here in the U.S. on Masterpiece Mystery next month).

I have to admit it was not love at first sight since I detested him in Atonement, and he was such a forgettable dork in Starter for 10, but I'm pleased I gave him another chance. I eagerly await anything and everything Benedict might make even the smallest appearance in (which means I will have to brave the Star Trek freaks and geeks when the newest installment hits theaters next year). And, how excited am I at the prospect of catching him as Christopher Tietjens in HBO's film version of Parade's End? Very excited. The most excited, indeed. I cannot get enough!
