Of course, the actor can't compete in the "looks" department with an opponent who is not only an incredibly talented eventer, but one who also happens to have a horse in his photo. Any reasonable jury would find in Francy Pants' favor, everytime. :-)
BTW: Congrats to Francis on his 4th place finish at the Barbury 3* this past weekend! He did a great job quietly sneaking up that leaderboard. Man, I would LOVE for him to make it onto the British squad for the Olympics in London next year. Of course, that would just make it one reason more difficult to root for the U.S. over the Brits on their home turf!

Veronica, are you talking about the actor or the eventer? If you're talking about the eventer, Francis is a fabulous rider/horseman to keep up with. I first noticed him around 2004 or 2005 when he was so successful on the European scene with his lovely grey, Spin Doctor. I've paid attention ever since. He comes from an eventing family (his sister, and I believe his wife are eventers, too) and he's president of the ERA in Great Britain. Francis is a wonderful person for our sport and he's definitely one of my favorites out there....and not just because he has a handsome face!
Cillian Murphy was in "The Girl with the Pearl Earring," "Red Eye," and -- the one I noticed him in most recently -- "Inception." That's the one where I kept thinking, "This guy reminds me of someone...." :-)
